Castle Air Welcomes Cornwall Air Ambulance’s New AW169 Helicopter
Our Managing Director, Ross Bunyard, and Commercial Manager, Duncan Colgate, accompanied Cornwall Air Ambulance CEO Tim Bunting and the charity’s trustees to the Leonardo factory in Vergiate, Italy, for the official handover of their new AW169 helicopter.
This advanced HEMS (Helicopter Emergency Medical Services) aircraft is set to enhance Cornwall Air Ambulance’s ability to provide critical care to communities across Cornwall and beyond. The AW169, equipped with state-of-the-art medical and aviation technology, is designed to improve response times and support life-saving missions with greater efficiency.
Castle Air is proud to partner with Cornwall Air Ambulance in this important initiative. Later this year, the AW169 will officially enter service, operated by Castle Air to support the charity’s vital air ambulance duties.
We are honored to play a role in supporting Cornwall Air Ambulance’s incredible work and look forward to seeing the AW169 make a meaningful impact in emergency response and patient care
